I am a front-end web developer living in Philadelphia, PA
Thanks for visiting. My name is LeeAnn and I like to create websites that are user friendly and implement the latest web standards. I am a web accessibility advocate trying to spread the word and teach others why making accessible websites is so important. I am a teacher, TA and events coordinator for Girl Develop It Philadelphia, organizer of LadyHacks, ELA Conf, and the Philly Women in Tech Summit. Sometimes I can be found blogging at leekinney.is, SheTechPHL and Philly Hikes. In my spare time I love to hike, bike, camp and travel as much as possible.
Recent projects...
This is my personal blog started at the beginning of 2015. Check it out for event recaps, tips and posts on how to make your site more accessible. I used the basic WordPress 2012 theme with a little bit of customization.
This is a site I started to document hikes in and and around Philadelphia. It was built in WordPress with the Ignite theme with a little customization.
This is one of my older projects done while completing my web design/development certificate at UArts. This site was built in WordPress with a custom child theme.
During the 2014 Summer of Open Source I had the opportunity to contribute to a wheelchair accessible Google map project. This prototype was created to offer an accessible public transit route through Philadelphia.
